To suit a long week, day 7's prompt for Inktober was Exhausted. I drew a cute lil' red panda sleeping off his tiredness as much as I wish I could. The poem I wrote was a simple piece on a good night's sleep. Below is the transcription:
the feeling of taking your socks
off in bed, naked skin on
clean sheets.
the cold side of a fresh pillow,
sweet dreams with no recurrent
worries. in sight.
rarer are these nights nowadays,
but I embrace their comfort still,
whenever they wish to visit.
