I was inspired by Arachne's tapestries for Inktober's Stretch prompt. As such, I wrote a poem to go along with it. Been enjoying the whole a poem-a-day thing as well. Below is the transcription:
pluck a thread from
my body's tapestry;
carefully pick one whose
tip stands alert, unfurled,
waiting for your filed
claws to unravel the
whole picture with a
methodical tug of my
being. how easy you
must find to erase
a sight some before
you deemed----------
