Cheating Death, my monologue involving a clever fox biding their time against a hunter was edited and submitted to the WriteNow competition, held by the Screenwriting Course in the University of Worcester. It was judged by a board of lecturers and members of Rural Media Productions, a Midlands "creative media production charity creating award winning films and digital arts projects for community engagement and social change."
My piece won, along with eight other monologues by fellow students. The monologue was then performed by Cameron Cocker, an actor at the Screenwriting Festival of 2018 in Worcester. Below, is his performance.
